The city of St. Paul on Friday released a road repair schedule that calls for repaving 11 of the city's "Terrible 20" roads by mid-October. Starting this week, crews will remove the top layer of those streets and drop in a new layer of pavement.

Filling a need - and more than a few potholes
When it rains in Anoka County, it pours potholes. You think there are only two seasons in Minnesota — winter and road construction? There’s also Pothole Season, and it never ends, says Anoka County Highway Engineer Doug Fischer.
