MnDOT opens bids for four projects

MnDOT opened bids for four projects ranging in size from $153,000 to $8.67 million. They include:
• Concrete overlay and culvert work on Highway 90 in Winona County. PCI Road apparently was the low bidder.
• Bituminous reclamation, overlay, box culvert replacement and ADA improvements on Highway 71 in Koochiching County. Hawkinson Construction won the contract over six other bidders with an apparent low bid of $5.528 million.
• Bituminous reclamation and overlay and culvert replacement on Highway 9 in Polk County. Anderson Brothers Co. of Brainerd was the low bidder at $4.568 million.
• Replacement of flashing beacon systems at four locations in Itasca and St. Louis counties. Ulland Brothers won this contract on a bid of $153,903.
