Concrete industry blasts asphalt in ad campaign

Tired of potholes? Blame asphalt.

That's the crux of a new ad campaign from the Portland Cement Association's North Central Region.

Hoping to galvanize the public to urge decision-makers to consider concrete on pothole-damaged roads, the Skokie, Ill.-based PCA is running billboard and bus shelter ads extolling the virtues of concrete.
