Down: AIA billings index, construction contracts

The outlook for future nonresidential construction in the Twin Cities region and across the country took a step in the wrong direction last month.

The American Institute of Architects’ architecture billings index (ABI) released Wednesday showed billings at design firms across the country were down in September compared with August activity.
