Provision to Close Downtown Mpls lock has Bipartisan Minn. Support

A bill in Washington, D.C. could close the Upper St. Anthony Falls lock. A provision in the final water infrastructure bills says closing the dam would help fight the spread of invasive carp in Minnesota waterways. The dam is situated on the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis.
