Bill at Minn. Capitol Would Increase Weight of Trucks by 8 Tons

A bill at the Minnesota State Capitol would increase the weight of certain trucks that travel on state highways and county roads. The proposal includes increasing the weight up to 97,000 pounds, which is more than 8 tons heavier than today's 80,000-pound limit.
