Minnesota bridge updates

According to Finance & Commerce, an engineer with the City of Minneapolis says he's optimistic that the Plymouth Avenue bridge, which connects north Minneapolis to northeast Minneapolis, won't require "tens of millions" to repair. But that bridge will be closed through the winter. There's corrosion in the high-tension cables running through the concrete.

The newspaper also reported that the state Supreme Court ruled that the I-35 bridge construction contract with Flatiron-Manson was valid.
