Minnesota topped nation in new construction jobs in Sept.

The 3,100 construction jobs Minnesota added in September was the most among the 50 states, but there are still fewer construction jobs now in Minnesota than a year ago.
The North Star state had 91,100 construction jobs in September, up 3.8 percent from 84,400 in August, according to a report released Friday by The Associated General Contractors of America. Only Hawaii reported stronger month-over-month growth, up 4.9 percent to 29,600.
