MnDOT opens bid for Highway 60 work

Commuters who have long pushed for safety and capacity improvements to Highway 60 in southern Minnesota are starting to see their efforts pay off.

On Friday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation opened bids for a project that will expand a portion of the road from two lanes to four lanes near Worthington. MnDOT also opened bids for a related bridge project.
